Dear Valued Customer:
I am writing to advise that regrettably, Marketplace Events will not be moving forward with future shows in the Texas market effective immediately.
If you have already paid a deposit on your space for either the Great Big Texas Home Show at Cowboys Stadium or the Fort Worth Convention Center, full reimbursement of your deposit will be mailed to you separately in approximately two to three weeks, or you may elect to have deposits transferred to any other Marketplace Events show (please see schedule of U.S. shows).
Our strategy from the start was to use our show at Cowboys Stadium as a highly visible, prestigious platform from which to build a home show business in Texas. While the show at Cowboy Stadium was a production success (arguably the best home show in Texas), the lack of dates in other Texas venues has limited our growth opportunities for the foreseeable future. For that reason we have decided to cancel the Dallas and Fort Worth shows and shift our focus to other markets where greater opportunities for growth exist.
Marketplace Events is committed to creating vibrant consumer marketplaces and we do so in our 30+ other home shows produced annually in 20 North American cities. Unfortunately, we have determined that we’re unable to continue to deliver this experience in Dallas or Forth Worth and are unwilling to compromise the product or your expectations.
Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience that these cancellations may cause. We are grateful for the confidence you placed in us by participating in these events and we look forward to earning your business at a different Marketplace Events show.
